I do not know how I got to be so lucky - but I am truly blessed to have such a beautiful and wonderful family!

Since my last post my baby has turned 10 years old - I do not know how I am going to handle my babies getting older - Eli will turn 13 this summer :(!

However, I know that this is the cycle of life - HA!

I also went to my niece's high school graduation - I had a great time with my brother and his family - especially those twin babies - I really want one of those babies!!!

We have a new reptile in our house - he belongs to Christian - but I think he is really my pet.

February 2009

We have been very busy with soccer and school - Christian now has a bearded dragon - and believe it or not, I have become quite attached to the little reptile! Our family is doing great and ready for Spring.

For Christmas we went to Michigan and enjoyed the snow - my boys are quite the snowboarders!!!

September - Hurricane month

This has been a crazy month - we missed a week of school thanks to Gustav - and then Ike flooded our neighborhood - here we are feeding the ducks from our back deck! Yes the ducks were really swimming around our yard!

Eli is in the 7th grade - luckily he is still not into girls!!!! Christian is in the 4th grade! They both love school and do really well - we are very proud of them!

July 2008

This month Eli turned 12 - I was so not ready for that! We went on a cruise for our vacation - fun! Ruco and Kristi leave for Uganda this month - sad! I hope they bring me a Uganda baby back when they come!! We are having a great summer - and we are not ready for school to start in August!!!
